”Life is a Roller Coaster” is a duoexhibition about childhood nostalgia, experience economy, amusement parks, speed, and movement, all put into a contemporary artistic context.
In a mix of readymades, prints, metal constructions and edible sculptures a twisted theme park universe is created.
The park is closed and what are left are useless rides, diverse props, and empty costumes.
About the artists:
Signe Rohardt Lund (b.1992) works a visual artist and has studied at the Funen Art Acadamy and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Schools of Visual Arts.
She primary works installation wise and sculptural, where she investigates subjects as recollection and memories, often within a self biographical starting point.
She has a long list of exhibitions on her CV, frequently in Denmark, Norway and Germany.

Nicolai Risbjerg (1994) works as a visual artist and has studied the University of Bergen Faculty of Fine Art, Music and Design.
He works sculptural and performativity which revolves around identities, play, queerness and the universal language such as love and symbolic.
He has exhibited different places in Norway, Sweden, China and Denmark.
Beside his own artistic practise, he teaches other artists in aluminium and bronze casting.

In Spring 2022 curated and organized Rohardt Lund and Risbjerg a public sculpturepark at Prøvestenen Syd at Amager.
The exhibition was in collaboration with By og Havn an Prøvestenens Natur og Fritidsforening.
